Chota South Fork Chest High Waders

The Patented DUCS® Suspender System secures shoulder straps firmly even on rough terrain, and allows the South Forks to be easily adjustable from chest high to waist high or lower (when nature calls); without removing over gear (vest, chest pack, rain jacket, etc.).
The main body consist of an extra light 3-layer breathable fabric for a comfortable fit. Naturally Hydrophobic, the Polyester face fabric features a tight weave and is treated with DuPont™ Teflon® fabric protector. Superior breath-ability and waterproofness is provided by Chota’s Micro-Porous Water Barrier located at the heart of the 3-layer fabric.
A supple Tricot inside lining composes the inside layer and provides a comfortable environment. While the front leg panels and seat panel feature an additional Micro-Porous Water Barrier and a Heavy-Duty Weave Polyester face fabric with re-positioned seams running up the back of the legs for reduced seam abrasion.
The South Forks also incorporates integrated gravel guards and compression resistant neoprene socks allowing this wader to be extraordinarily comfortable and durable.  Finally, additional storage has been added with both splash resistant front and inside zippered pockets completing this one-of-a-kind wader.

We’ve been using these for over 4 seasons now ( same pair ) . These are strong, breathable , comfortable waders at a great price. The suspender is unique and does require a few practice sessions to use it properly. Best way is to slip it on like a gun holster then hook up the straps. This system allows you to lower the top as needed, adjust the top to waist high without removing the straps. The top has plenty of room for rain jackets and sweat shirts for cold weather. In the summer I wear these on the hottest of days to protect against ticks and poison ivy. ( I get very few ticks ) .  Honestly, these are one of the longest wearing, toughest waders I’ve had.

Chota offers a 1 year warranty and they will do their best to keep you on the stream. This is a smaller company with great customer service. Bob Clouser has endorsed them for quite a long time… and so do I.
