We’ve been using the drop shot technique on the Salmon River for years. Long ago I gave up looking for the correct size and bought bulk. Solid brass, blackened with double loops and no snaps. To rig up, tie on to the end of a 0x to 2x leader. Leave a tag for 6” and tie 3-4 knots. Tie tippet of -1x to 2x to the other end. Put AA, BB shot to the tag end. The swivels allow the leader to spin and not catch your shot, reducing break offs. This replaces slinkies and is legal anywhere lead is allowed. 2 dozen in a pack.
