The Original Signature was one of the first high performance & low cost rods. The Signature series was developed in part with input from Lefty Kreh. His input helped to create great tapers that are still used today.The New Signature II series rods offer the same astounding performance as the original classic Signature series but with upgraded components. This is a perfect first fly rod with performance that will impress even a master fly caster.

Signature II rods feature an anodized up-locking aluminum reel seat, AA grade cork with handsome accents, oversized stripping guides and a beautiful translucent green blank finish. These are ideal for beginning or intermediate casters. Perfect for trout, smallmouth, salmon, saltwater. Shorter rods are ideal for spring creek angling.

Many anglers that don’t travel believe that 2 piece rods reduce breakage since there are less pieces. There are less junctions creating less potential for breakage. Some salmon anglers feel that these are less likely to fail when playing and landing large fish.
